Paradigm Shift Finding Like Minds Resources and Links Books I Found It! Final Notes About the Author

NEW BEGINNINGS AND RESOURCES FOR BEGINNERSFinal Notes - I found It! Now where do I go?Dear Anand,Dear Sammie, Congratulations on finding yourself! Now go back and play some more hide and seek! Because that's what it's all about. Never stop defining yourself. There is a wonderful parable from the Zen tradition that goes something like this: A scholar goes to visit a Zen Master to learn more about the teaching. The Zen Master offers him a cup of tea and asks the scholar what he knows about Zen. The scholar begins to rattle off all the things he has learned over the years, literature he has read, lectures he has witnessed, etc. As the scholar talks, the Zen master pours tea into his cup and it starts to overflow. The scholar continues to talk until the tea is pouring all over the table and over the edge soaking the scholar. The scholar then stops and says, "Why, do you continue to pour when my cup is full to overflowing?" The Zen Master replies "How, can you who are so full to the brim with information ever listen and learn from me? First you must empty your cup!"Now about stores: The most popular store in the City of the Angels is the Bodhi Tree on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. It always has a good positive energy there and I would recommend it highly. They also have ongoing classes to learn about all sorts of things. For anyone else looking for a store in your own home town... try doing a search on the Internet with the name of your town or metropolitan area and use words like +bookstore +Wicca or even try +metaphysical rather than Wicca to get a better response rate. Good luck in your ongoing quest...
Blessed Be.
