Final Notes - The Willow

As you begin to become more aligned with the metaphysical world you may notice that popular culture is filled with references to these ancient rituals and mysteries. Perhaps it is our society’s continuing search to quench a thirst which has been left unheeded for so many years now. Think of this Good Wiccan book as an apéritif. Now that you have begun your search for knowledge, you will find the banquet buried deep within yourself as you re-awaken your own awareness of the seen and unseen world.

In your quest for these ancient mysteries, you may encounter other ‘New Age’ thoughts or directions such as Vegetarianism, Conservation, Quantum Physics, Numerology, Lexigrams, Laws of Karma, and other spiritual exploration. Consider these as a part of your evolution. Take what you like and leave the rest. It may not be your path now, but it may be yours at another time, or it may be someone else’s path to enlightenment. So give new ideas the respect and thoughtful consideration they deserve.

A true Wiccan never uses his or her influence for personal gain at the expense of others. Harm None. Have a healthy respect for the power you are about to encounter and do not take it lightly. You are entering into a sacred trust with the world and this means accepting a level of responsibility for your actions in it.

You should not expect Wicca to work miracles for you. But if you make the decision to harness your own energy and focus your attention on creating a positive and nurturing environment through the rituals of Wicca, you may be surprised what miracles do occur! Believe that magical things can happen and look for them in the little wonders of life.

Remember to be as a Willow and bend with the Winds of the World.

Stand tall and firmly with your strength in the earth, God’s and Goddess’ Holy Creation, and reach out far and wide to expand yourself, yet accept the will of God and Goddess.
