Activities - Consecration

A nice way to begin a ritual is through self consecration. You may also use this process to anoint another person. You may also choose to perform Consecration after you have cast your circle.

Begin by placing a droplet of perfume or oil on the thumb of your dominant hand and saying

I dedicate my life to God/Goddess…

Then touching your thumb to your forehead saying

In my mind

Then touching your thumb to your lips

…In my body…

Then touching your thumb over your heart

…In my spirit….

Then clasp your hands together in prayer

….and with all of my strength and will.
