HOW TO BE A "WITCH" (WICCAN) AND ELEMENTARY WICCA MAGIC / MAGICKActivities - Preparing a TalismanYou may prepare a Talisman at this point. It is the same concept that churches use with holy cards or crosses, or 12 step programs use with ‘chips’. It is a special symbol - anything from a stone or a lock of hair, to a fortune from a fortune cookie. The sky’s the limit here! A talisman is simply a symbol of your magical goal which you carry with you to bring the change of consciousness that occurred during your ritual into everyday life.As you dedicate yourself to a goal, hold your talisman in your hand (left bottom - right on top) and repeat your intention out loud three times. After your invocation, it is a good time to do a guided meditation, read something life-affirming out loud, listen to music, or beat a drum and dance. It can be a time to lighten-up and celebrate life.
