Travel Magic - Anoint and Dedicate your Candle

Now it is time to anoint your candle and dedicate it. Start by placing your candle in front of you facing with the wick upright. Use the Anointing a Candle directions early in this book, or here is a quick refresher course…

Place some cologne on the forefinger/thumb of your dominant hand.

Place your forefinger/thumb on either side of the candle.

Spin the candle counterclockwise 3 times with your other hand.

Then run your forefinger and thumb once up the wick.

Place the candle on your left palm and place your right palm over it, the repeat your dedication 3 times out loud. Some possible dedications are:

“I dedicate this candle to a successful meeting tomorrow.”
“I dedicate this candle to being clear in the way I speak with ____”
“I dedicate this candle that I may be more understanding with ____”
“I dedicate this candle to accomplishing the goals of my journey.”
“I dedicate this candle to the continued improvement of the planet.”
“I dedicate this candle to living in the truth every day.”
“I dedicate this candle to a profitable journey.”
“I dedicate this candle in thanks for all of the blessings in my life.”

Be as specific or as general as you wish. It’s your time to focus your energy on what you want and to take responsibility for accomplishing it. You may now light your candle.
