Love Spell - Step Two and Three– Preparation and Energy Augmentation

Take a short walk outside and take some deep breaths and focus your energy. While you are walking, take the time to notice the beauty around you, Find something to appreciate in your surroundings and focus on that; whether it is the design of the building, the color of some paint, the laughter of children, the smell of grass, a neatly trimmed hedge, or the wildly growing hedge. Even if you are in an urban or industrial area, remember that industry is a product of mankind’s creativity and there is incredible beauty in that, even if the result is misguided pollution or paved parkland. Somehow nature always manages to take back a little, whether it is through planned landscaping or a dandelion growing up through the sidewalk!

Find some form of plant life that catches your eye, a flower or sprig of greenery, however humble. Even in the dead of winter, a bare branch has beauty - in that it will be reborn and re-leaf from seeming ‘absolute death’ in the spring. Thank it for growing so abundantly and pick it. Know without guilt that it is actually healthy for plants to be cut back because it encourages new growth. Bring your cutting and your centered experience back to your altar. And place it in your Water Glass (if it needs water).
