Love Spell - Step Nine – Invoke the New You

Now that you have banished old thoughts and old ideas, it is time to establish a new mindset. In order to connect to this mindset, both mentally, spiritually and physically, it is important to have some tangible object or mannerism that bonds you with your intention after you have performed your ritual. This is one of the reasons why certain religions beat their breasts or cross themselves. Physical reminders are wonderful for reconnecting with Spirit. For this Spell you should have a Love Talisman to fulfill this need. A Talisman is an object that you carry around with you at all times. It is a symbol to re-enforce your mental and spiritual transition by connecting you physically with a tactile reminder of your commitment and your personal Magic.

The following method of repetitive affirmation with varying degrees of volume is highly effective and heightens the absorption of new ideas.

Place your Invocation Scroll where you can read it without holding it in your hands. Hold your Talisman in your left hand with your right hand over it. Carefully read out loud everything you have written on your Invocation Scroll.

Read the whole thing - four times!

The first time as loudly as you possibly can. Shout it if that is possible.

Then repeat it a second time in your normal voice.

Then repeat it a third time in a whisper.

The fourth time say it internally without speaking aloud.

Then with your eyes closed, wordlessly remember your goal and contemplate on it - DO NOT put your feelings into words. Just feel it. Become one with it. Breathe it. Take a moment with this part.
