Basic Wiccan Tools and Symbols – Tarot Cards

Tarot Cards are a tool of ‘divination’. After an individual has focused their energy into a deck, the cards are dealt in a formation. Each card has a unique meaning or message. ‘Divine’ wisdom or insight can be assimilated by interpreting which cards were chosen and how they are laid out and interrelate with each other. Although fortune telling cards have been around for hundreds of years, the deck most commonly used today came into existence around the turn of the Twentieth Century.
