Basic Wiccan Tools and Symbols - Herbal Incense and Oils For Home and Family

If you are lucky enough to have a garden, you can grow your own herbs. That is the best way to collect them. Some stores sell loose herbs from which you can make your own oils and incense. Small tablets of incense charcoal, available in metaphysical stores, can be placed on top of sand to help keep loose herbs lit. Otherwise stick or cone incense is acceptable. You may also wish to use oils perfumed with special herbs for rituals such as Anointing a Candle (See Rituals: Anointing a Candle).
