WHEEL OF THE YEAR - SPECIFIC WICCA WICCAN SABBATH HOLY DAY RITUALS
Beltane Ritual - Cone of Energy (And Physical Release)
The cone of energy is built as individuals repeat the following chant,.
"Fire bind it.
"Let know one find it."
The group may chose to continue to chant, play percussion and dance around the fire to raise the cone of energy. Another chant often sung to raise the cone of energy is:
"She changes everything she touches.
"And everything she touches changes."
When the group seems ready the leader removes his/her bindings and throws them in the fire and shouts and jumps shaking arms wildly in freedom.
"Freedom"
All others may follow suit when ready. If it is possible to jump over the fire through the smoke then participants should do so while calling out what they are now released of. In the event the fire is too big to jump over - then passing the hands through the smoke will do.
"I leave my fear, guilt or anger etc. in the flames""
