Good Wiccan Summer Solstice – Rituals

Good Wiccan Sabbaths, Holy Days, Holidays & Rituals

Summer Solstice Ritual – Lighting of the Fire

All light their matches and chant 3 times:

CHANT:
“The sun is not lost, it will rise again.
“The sun lives in me until then.”

All participate in lighting either the bonfire or large central candle. If you are lighting a bonfire, allow it to catch on and enjoy the experience of lighting it with your friends. All take a sprig of lavender (or incense) and throw it into the fire or light it with the candle and set it on the tray to burn.

Summer Solstice Ritual – Clear Vision

Leader explains the next activity.

“Take a moment to think of an example within your life where something you thought was bad was really a blessing.”

Allow several long moments for people to gather their thoughts.

“Reflect on an area in your life right now where you feel you have failed or have not completed a task you set out on, or an area where you have not been willing to let something go for fear there might not be something better down the line.

“As you see the wreath of flowers, release all judgment of that failure or incompletion or fear. Just let it be what it is, and do no beat yourself up or judge yourself. This is the pregnant moment of the year – where the fruits of seeds planted are yet unknown.

“Know that God and Goddess divine wisdom has our ultimate good at heart and that is not always what we would will to happen.”

Leader goes to the first person to his/her left and holds up a wreath to the face of the individual and says:

“See the unbroken wheel of life-
“Beginnings are endings are beginnings.”

After a moment that person takes the wreath and continues to the next person to his/her left and recites the same words.

“See the unbroken wheel of life-
“Beginnings are endings are beginnings.”

Continue around the circle until the leader has seen the wheel of life. Then finally, the leader claims:

“By the light of the overhead sun.
“God and Goddess now are one.
“Strengthening energies now are merged.
“Negative energies now are purged.
“Listen clearly. See clearly. Know clearly.”

Summer Solstice Ritual – Cone of Energy (And Judgment Release)

The cone of energy is built as the leader exclaims:

CHANT:
“Release your judgments and proclaim
“I hear and see and know at last.
“I release myself from the past.”

Leader throws wreath into the fire.

CHANT: “I release!”

All begin to dance around the fire/candle, playing percussion and chanting:

CHANT:
“I hear and see and know at last.
“I release myself from the past.”

Another chant often sung to raise the cone of energy is:

CHANT:
“She changes everything she touches.
“And everything she touches changes.”

In the past 20 years I had to do a lot of research to find good QUALITY caring service providers. Here is where I register domains:

I recommend both highly.
